All meals and snacks will be budgeted for in our weekly food shop and you will not be charged extra for them unless you opt in for creche hours. They will be planned out to encourage the children to try new foods and textures and maintain a healthy balanced diet. These meals will be prepared the night before they are given to the children and safely stored in our fridge to enable ease of preparing food during the course of the day.
If your child requires a nap during the day then a safe space will be prepared for them and fresh bedding than it set aside just for them will be given. It is placed in a bag labelled with their name and washed weekly. I will be using non bio pods and sensitive fabric softener in our wash. Again at no extra cost
In our home we will provide nappies, nappy cream and wipes for your child should they require them. We will be using Sainsburys or Asdas own nappies and wipes as they are our local shop. However, if you require your child to have specific nappies, cream or wipes we ask that you pack this in their bag each day. Alternatively you can drop off a bulk amount of each and I can set it aside and label this for your child.
The same goes for Suncream I will be providing suncream, most likely sainsburys or asdas own brand. If your child requires a special brand then please provide this and I will ensure they receive their own labelled suncream
Allowing the children to have constant access to drinking water and be able to independently be able to access this themselves throughout the day is very important. This is why we will have not only a drinking station but a Independence station where children can access baby wipes, tissues, a tissue bin, and fresh water all day long.
Every Wednesday the children will be taken to Rustington Library Rhyme Time and encouraged to independently choose books to be take back to our tiney home.
Also as part of Tiney, we automatically become a part of Tiney Bookclub where every so often we get sent a book with actvity ideas to interact with and enjoy with the children.

These will be uploaded to the tiney app and also discussed with you one on one with me regularly either over hand over or dedicated one on one time. This will allow fluidity between their home life and their Tiney Home life. It also means I can dedicate activities and resources not only to their developmental needs but also their interests.
Our Tiney Home space is geared to ensuring the children get the most out of their time with us. A range of resources will be available to allow the children to each explore their individual needs and interests. The play room is placed by the back door to allow free flow into the garden without compromising my view of them at all times.

Areas available will be:
Sensory play
Role Play
Artist Area
Book Corner
Construction
Mud Kitchen
Sand Tray
Messy Play.
All these areas can be brought out and rotated to allow variation in the childrens play without overwhelming the play area.
Having a toilet right next to the nursery allows the children to have indepence to go to the toilet and wash their hands whilst I stand in the middle of the doorway allowing me to see all areas. This promotes an understanding of self care and independence that is so important in early years.
To help support children with their sensory development and provide them a new environment to explore I plan to take them to the Play Cafe for Messy Monday fun. But I feel that access to this place allows them to explore their wider environment and community around them
Being so close to the seafront I feel it is so important to use this opportunity to expose children to the wonders of the beach. It allows them to explore and learn through play, finding out about the world around them by searching the beach hands on. This activity will be done weather permitting and after a thorough risk assessment.

This is a rarer activity that will be conducted further apart than others
We are very lucky where we are that we have a number of parks and greens nearby that allow the children to have access to plenty of space to play outside. Like all outings each trip will be risk assessed and all park equipment checked before children allowed on them.
As well as providing a wide variety of resources for preschool age and under, I have collected many resources to support the primary school ages. From work books to early reading books to support childrens learning from school age upwards. From educational games to fun learning programmes that they can watch or play and unwind with whilst waiting for their parents pick up after school.
